Ad-Aware Scores?

Ok, everyone posts their 3D-Mark scores, but today a friend told me there should be a place to compare Ad-Aware scores, as he had just run it on a public system at the high school with over 500! Just wondering what's the most any of you have ever gotten!


I think my highest has been about 30 or so, counting Kazaa Lite (which AdAware still detects the dummy files).

So far 1 is what I have gotten with Ad-aware. I use it once a week or so as a follow up to other programs I use to see if anything was missed.

Never more than ten, i check weekly and they usually tend to be tracking cookies

I recently worked on a friend's old computer in an effort to clean it up for him...ran AdAware and it found 282 spyware items. Prior to that, I had cleaned another friend's computer and AdAware found 176 on hers. On mine, it generally only finds 1 or none as I also use AnalogX Cookiewall to block. When I find a spyware cookie, I add it to Cookiewall to keep it off my computer.

Have a guy at the office that clicks on every thing that pops up on IE. he has been doing this for the last year or so.

I stopped the thing I think around 500+ and it may have been half way through it. I just wiped the whole box after seeing that:eek:

The first time I had run it I had 547. That was on a computer that had started as win98 and was upgraded to winME and then WinXP. The computer haddn't been formatted for 4 years.
