It could be resident in System Restore (which Norton cannot clean) or a system cataloging file! If you have system restore you should disable it and restart the computer to clear the file, then scan again. once you're clean you can re-enable it. :t BipolarBill 04-24-2003, 08:37 AM Don't forget to delete the virus from the Quarantine folder. If it keeps coming in the mail, write the sender - they may not know they have it. gtr 04-24-2003, 09:49 AM The office computer gets a lot of junk mail. Perhaps it's coming in from that? I have no idea about system restore but i'm running win2k. thanks for the info. BipolarBill 04-24-2003, 09:53 AM Is your AV software detecting the virus in incoming mail? Where are the viruses found? Check your logs. If you're using Norton, empty the Norton Protected files. gtr 04-25-2003, 01:10 PM Yeah, we're using norton. This worm makes files everywhere. I think i found out who has this virus so it's coming in from that sender's email. I guess everytime that virus hit's it infects other computer and to get rid of it I run Norton's downloaded virus program to fix the registery. SysOpt.com
