ON the ECS website and in my manual it says that the K7S5A Pro supports keyboard power on. My keyboard does have a power on button but it doesn't seem to work. Is there something i may need to turn on in the bios? my friend has this same keyboard and his works fine with his soyo board.
anyone know about this?

Yes I do, but I don't recommend using it.
Look in BIOS setup under Power Management. There are many ways to get the PC to power up. Choose a keyboard combo there.
The ECS cannot use your proprietary keyboard button - it was programmed for another motherboard.

AAAAnnnd of course you need to move the keyboard/mouse power rail jumper to Standby (in the upper left corner, near the respective connectors). See manual.
