I have ECS P6IEAT MB with Intel 815E chipset. This motherboard can only handle up to 512mb base on this chipset. Is there
a way we can make it go beyond 512mb?

no, it is a limitation of the hardware.

changing the mobo is the only solution....usually you get via chipsets(forgot the chipset name) that have 1.5G capability..like the ASUS CUV4X.
