Colleagues:

I am attempting to design and install a custom splash screen in place of my original Windoze logo splash screen. Can you give me any pointers on how this can be done?

Thx!

I was able to replace the logo.sys with some cooler ones. I'd like to be able to make my own and most of the intructive sites seem to deal with Win95 while I use Win98se.

In addition I'd like to see nothing but the animation after first POST screen till wallpaper. I could always boot in Safemode (or boot disk) and disable option if need be, i.e., diagnostics, but otherwise the affect of the new screen boot logo is interrupted by a lot of boot/POST language. I wonder how much can be removed from msdos.sys file...?
Anyone know?
