There are a lot of entries in the "New" submenu of Explorer's contextual menu which I would prefer to make dissapear. Things like "ACDSee BMP Image", "WinRAR Archive", etc. Does anybody know how this can be achieved? Running Win98 here.

get yourself a copy of TweakUI from the MS site or various others and that allows you to remove the links from the new catergory. Thats a standard tactic across the board of windows products....
