You have to manually set the FSB (CPU frequency) to 166MHz in BIOS setup for Bartons. You should update your BIOS too.
Do those things and load the VIA Hyperion drivers and your problems should disappear.

I don't see any changes.
Update your BIOS and set your host clock to 166MHz. It's all related to this.
Next time, try replying instead of posting again. What you did was childish.

Its still a double post if your still asking the same thing in a different thread.
Its about your Soyo mobo.
Only thing you did was change the last sentence.
Go to page 39 of your manual and where it says CPU Frequency Mode, set this to AUTO. If that doesn't work then set it for 166.
Don't use the 1mhz increment (Frequency 1Mhz Stepping). Set multiplier to AUTO. Set DRAM Clock to By Speed.
Re-read the manual, pages 39-43.

Either the CPU is bad, the motherboard or you're doing something wrong.
Remove the CPU and make sure that there are no bent pins. If the pins are OK, you should return the motherboard or get help configuring it.
