I found a link in an article posted here a while back that talked about a new form of PCI that is faster than AGP.

If someone can remember where(as i cant) could you please post here so i can read more about it?

Thanks :)

PCI-X i think it is:

as with all of the 'latest and greatest' things it promises to blow just about everything out of the water

Thanks Jakk .... that was what i was looking for.

Now am i to assume that this will replace OR at least run along side the AGP platforms??

From what i read a while back its set to take over from AGP and slap it silly in the process

So will our motherboards of the future come with 6 AGP slots and one PCI-X slot?:p

It'll all be PCI-X methinks, as its capable of running both graphics and other hardware, as is PCI today
