MB Asus cusl2-c
BIOS update - saved existing BIOS, Flashed Successfully, Dead On Reboot. No video, no POST. No Nothing. PS is on with hard drive and fan noise.
Had HP multifunction machine pluged into USB port during flash.
Motherboard has Smart BIOS boot block write protection. Need more info regarding BIOS recovery.
Thanks

Welcome to SysOpt!
It sounds like you flashed your board with the wrong BIOS image.
Looking at ASUS's site, there are two similarly named boards - the CUSL2 and CUSL2-C, so maybe you got the wrong one. The Wim's BIOS FAQ (http://www.wimsbios.com/index.htm?/HTML1/faq.html) has some advice (look at Q9), as does BadFlash (http://www.badflash.com). Good luck.

I would disconnect any usb devices during the flash process just to be sure. There can be No power interruptions during the procedure.
If you saved the old bios , then use it to restore the boot block. If not find the correct .bin for your board.
Next, follow the advice in this article for recovery...

*If you find during the recovery procedure no floppy drive activity , you wont be able to recover. Then, www.badflash.com is your only hope , besides a hotswap with another exact mobo.
