Hi all,

I need a good hard drive copy tool (preferably free/shareware) to copy my 30.6g seagate barracuda 2 ata66 drive to my new 40g Seagate barracuda 3 ATA100 drive. Its simple becasue i don't wanna have to reinstall Windows etc.....

Also what will this ATA100 drive say on boot up because my current mobo only supports UDMA66?? Will it default to UDMA66?? I'm building a new sys soon and thats what the new HD's for.

Thanx - RobUK

go to downloads.com and look for a program called drive2drive it's windows based program that works realy easy install the program reboot your system shut down install the new drive as slave reboot and drive 2 drive will run you through a wizard to copy the intire old drive to the new one you will love this program http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
