I have an Amptron M922 mobo. I have gone through all the pins 5 times. My problem is that every now and then the keyboard stops working. To fix it all I have to do is unplug and plug it back in. The main problem is I cannot use the sleep mode. If I hit the sleep button the computer sleeps but as soon as I hit the wake button the mouse and keyboard lock up. I then have to cold shut down and restart. The computer will POST and boot. It will also run all day long with no problems except for a few times the keyboard going out. Anyone have any idea as to what is wrong. I am at a loss.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to SysOpt!

You have made a common mistake in not mentioning your Windows version or keyboard connection. Is it PS/2 or USB?

It is running Windows XP Pro. The keyboard is a PS/2 connection.

Try a different keyboard. Update your BIOS too:

Flaky or way too weak power supply I'd say.
