We need some more info.
What is the driver for?
Are you removing the hardware associated with the driver?
If not do you have a new driver for the hardware?
I think that should cover the basics. Let us know.

Remove the piece of hardware concerned and remove the drivers from device manager. Removing the drivers from device manager while the card is still plugged should also work. And there is always safe mode where you can do pretty much anything.

I reformatted my HD, and ive got everything back on it except my USB video cam isnt working...all the driver files didnt load right. It wont let me reinstall the driver becuase windows says im using the best dirver so far, so im just gonna take out the driver completely and reinstall.

When I unplug the cam, the cam disapperas from device manager.

Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Thanks guys.

I'll be if you read the install instructions, you'll figure it out.
Anyhow, unplug the camera, install the software from the disk, and when prompted, plug the camera in.
99% of all USB vidcams install this way.
