i took off my cdrom to try and fix a problem (no longer ripps cds) and it came back as drive d, it used to be q

is there a way to make it q again? not like it matters but q sounds so much more original than d, doesnt it?

new topic - if no replys to it i will repost it in a new topic, since that is what it is

i was trying to get windows to read my cdrom digitally, since i know for a fact it used to

i messed around with the check boxes in the cd rom properties and for some reason it uninstalled by modem. since that and my video card are the only pci devices i knew it was that, also the fact i couldnt get online because a comm port problem.... my question is, why did it do that? just curious
