I ll be using a Epox 8RDA, and will overclock my xp 2100. I c a lot of the Nforce2 chipset becoming too hot. So I want to monitor the Northbridge and maybe also the southbridge (got too much temp diodes, 4 :) )
But what is the temprature it gets and is allowed to get maximum. I want to us a zalman chipset cooler with a little fan for the n-bridge, but what should i place on the s-bridge ?

A passive cooling heatsink should probably do for the southbridge, just something little, maybe stuck on with thermal epoxy.

If i were you i would be more concerned about the MOSFETS on the board as they pump out quite a bit of heat, also check out the thermal image at this page:

**** this is a great site!!! Thnx a lot!
Indeed I can move the north bridge sink to the s-bridge, when I add new cooling to the s-bridge. I will indeed cool the MOSFETS too. [edit] me very stupid just follow the link )-| [edit]
But are there any actua temperature measurements available for the n-bridge, s-bridge and mosfets?
