I'm thinking of making a device for my wheelchair that will include 2 cordless mouses. I have never had one, and would like to ask a few questions. :)
Do they go into sleep mode? <- Maybe someone can give me the basics about how they work.
Also, the battery life.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

the only advice i can give is dont go cheap, get a good one. ive had 4, 1 logitech and 3 other cheapies. the only one i still use is the logitech, been going strong for 4-5 years, no problems and only 3 or 4 batteries so far. cheapos usually lasted matter of weeks.
get a logitech wireless optical, those are nice :D

My one here goes to "sleep" after two minutes, to wake it up I just press any button. It needs charging fairly often(once a day for about half an hour can be used while charging) which involves pluging it into a charger lead that connects to a USB port. Check the operating range I had one mouse that could operate anywhere in the house but this one struggles on the other side of the room.
