I have a A7M266 mobo with 256mb ram of pc2100 DDR. I added another stick of 256 MB PC2100 DDR I purchased from sams club unbuffered. It wont run. The 1st stick has chips on both sides the new stick has chips on 1 side. according to the manual that came with the board it should work. I tried the new stick by itself and the board just beeps at me. any suggestions? I guess there is a possibility the ram is bad but I would like any suggestions before making a 45 mile drive to replace it.
