I'm thinking of buying a new scanner in the 70-80 dollar range. The cheaper the better. I want a good one though, like good enough quality to make my pictures look real. I heard HP was good and I was thinking of getting the 3300C. Anyone have any ideas on what i should get and where I can get one?

Some of the places that I use for shopping is pricewatch.com, compgeeks.com, and dirtcheapdrives.com. They usually have very good prices.

Hope this helps

I found the HP ScanJet 6200Cxi for a good price and Epson Perfection 610 USB Scanner for a good price too. Which one would be better?

I have the Epson scanner. It is pretty good. I've been able to get high quality scans.

What are you going to use it for? If you are scanning things to be viewed on a monitor, practically any scanner will do.

My epson has been pretty good to me. Just keep in mind that some scanners take a lot of space. I only hook mine up when I use it then put it back in the closet, so USB was important to me.

The epson one is refurb, and only 1 remains. I'm not sure about how good the supplier is, but its like 60-70 dollars with 15 shipping. I think I'm going to go with the epson though.

Well here is what I posted in your other thread....

FREE
...is the best route to go (or as close as you can get)
I got a scanner at Staples for $10 - it was marked at $60, with a $20 and $30 mail in rebate. It works more than good enough for me.

OK, how about letting us in on the deal..

The Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 6200C for $80.00 , seems as if more than one of us would like to have one..

Post the link, please..
