I'm not really into the whole benchmarking thing, but I was originally getting like 9100 or something. So I set out on a goal to break 10000. Which I did, I got 10006, then stopped. Is this good? I think a lot of it has to do with my video card, since I'm running a 2.8Ghz @ 3.42Ghz. The video card is also mildly OC'd. How much does the video card have to do with the 3dmark scores? I'm guessing probably quite a bit since I've read about people that get like 13K with the GF4 Ti's..... Here's (http://home.attbi.com/~tjlangley/100063d.JPG) a pic of wCpuID next to my 3dmark score. My current specs are:

P4 2.8Ghz @ 3.42Ghz
Asus P4PE
768MB DDR 2100
BBA Radeon 8500LE (Core:256Mhz/Mem:250Mhz)
Antec case & 350W PSU
WD 80Gb 7200RPM

I'm thinking I'll probably throttle down my processor back to 3.24 though. Its at 1.8V right now, but I can get 3.24 on 1.575.

I would possibly have expected a little more, even though the vid card isnt the greatest bencher. Be sure to disable Vsync, Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering before runnign 3dmark, see if that helps

Thats a good score for his video card since he is running the LE version of the 8500. Remember its a little slower than the non LE 8500:t
