When I chose a certain background color in Frontpage, for example Maroon (HEX=80,00,00). How do I chose/pick the EXACT SAME color in Photoshop 5 ?

I know that in Photoshop 6 there is this neat little function where you can enter the HEX value, but I can't use PS6 because it doesnt run smooth enough on my computer.

So, can anyone help me out with this ?.

thanks,
cm.

Save the background as image and open it in photoshop, use color picker to get the exact color.
I know this isn't what you're looking for but it's a way arounnd =)

See this pic, this is from Photoshop 5 (or 5.5) and it seems there is indeed a place to enter a hex value:

Yep! That's exactly how I do it too! I just press "Print Screen" of the window I want to match the color of. And then, I open Photoshop and then:

1) CTRL+N = New

2) CTRL+V = Paste

3) Go to the image I just captured by pressing "Print Screen" and then use the "Eye Dropper" tool.
