Just wondering. Was thinking about purchasing a Cisco WAP and wanted to know if it would work with my Orinoco.

Just make sure the SSIDs are the same and you should be cool. :cool:

They are specifications or standards, not protocols, but you bring up a good point. I naturally think of 802.11b when thinking about Cisco and Orinoco because that is where their foothold is. Cisco only offers one 802.11a AP model, the 1200 although the 1100 is field upgradeable I believe. They also sell a 802.11a client adapter. Orinoco/Proxim offers both A and B as well, so good call on that factor. My guess is that they are both 802.11b
