Update, I just ordered some memory(CF)and the s&h did NOT increase from the stated price on ONE piece...

sorry newegg,,

They must have changed policy cause I've checked previously..

You MUST be home to sign for the package, no signing the tab or them leaving it.. Kinda inconvenient for me.

The pricing is fair.

I have a package Today waiting 25 miles away, I can either take off work tomorrow and HOPE to catch them or drive..

"...and ship primarily with FedEx (the guys who don't beat up your stuff, like UPS)"

HAHAHAHAHA

If a box is too heavy (for instance, this happened with some 19" monitors coming through), they just roll it end over end. I'm talking about FedEx here. Only difference is that they'll actually be on time.

I ordered a mobo and HDD friday, and it arrived this morning. FedEx saver shipping, which equates to UPS's ground. UPS shipping takes 7 to 8 days from the west coast to the east coast...and on this holiday weekend, mine came in 4 days.

Many ppl are using Newegg, and no bad examples so far...they have a very good rating at resellerratings.com as well.

Most of the online vendors get you in the pocket book on shipping, if they have good prices on their products...you can always buy from a vendor that advertises free shipping, but you still pay for it, one way or the other.

Pretty good prices, they beat the price at the place I usually use by about $15 on those two items.

I've had good experiences. I purchased a new MB,CPU fan MEM And case from them. It all arrived promptly. Packed well. the only problem, was the CPU was DOA. With little effort I received an RMA. I shipped it back and got send a new CPU. the new CPU showed up 1 week after I shipped mine out (2nd day air)

Hawk.

I have bought stuff from newegg before, they have free shipping on some stuff,I think it's fed-ex 2 day or something to that effect. You have to look around to see the stuff they have it on. I bought a radeon LE video card a while back, and they didn't advertise the fact that it was an LE, but very soon after I bought it, they put the fact on the website, so they did the right thing.

I think several others who got the card must have complained also, and that's what caused them to put the disclaimer in later.

I got my stuff as promised, and I bought an Iwill KA266-R mobo from them also,no complaints from me.
Several members here have done business with them, and they seem to do pretty good. Check their ratings at resellerratings.com also, they do pretty well as far as ratings.

I think I've purchased over half of my present primary system from them. They have great shipping prices and ship primarily with FedEx (the guys who don't beat up your stuff, like UPS).

I have seen a few places that have item prices lower than NewEgg, but when you factor in shipping, NewEgg beats them.

As an example of shipping times, I placed an order for a mobo and HSF on Sunday night around 10pm Central time. The package was delivered Wednesday afternoon (California to Wisconsin).
