Good luck. Just remember AMD'S run HOT so make sure you always have adaquate cooling

I have the same motherboard, I pushed mine to 2324mhz w/ 1700+ athlon. For

2324 * 1700 / 1470 = approx 2700+

Heres a link to a guide.
http://lowyat.isentral.com/guides/athlonxp/

I used 166FSB multiplier 14X core voltage 1.7

Temp 109F 42C when in use.

If you look at the guide, it seems AMD is useing relabeled 2400+, 2600+, 2800+ chips to fulfill demand for the 1600+ and 1700+ Athlons. So overclocking is not a problem for a lot, using cpuid from www.cpuid.com will let you know if the fabrication is 13microns or 18microns before you start pushing it.

Forgot to mention, the reason for the low 166mhz FSB is due to my cheap $20
256MB DDR2100 ram. You could potentially go higher.

It depends on the core revision. Check out the overclockers.com cpu database. :)
