An aquintance of mine has asked if there is a camera that attaches to your computer that will do both video and sound. He has a Logitech camera right he says will to video, or he can do audio, but he cannot do both. I know absolutely nothing about this.:confused: :confused:

In THEORY, the logitech cam can do both, the problem is bandwidth. It takes a HUGE amount of bandwidth to transmit full motion video and sound, so if he doesn't have the bandwidth, one (usually video, but not always) will suffer. I used to do tech support for Connectix (before they sold their camera division to Logitech) and this was a large problem. Another thing can be routing between the ISP's, too many hops between them, and something disappears, usually video then sound, so,, even though the cam is capable, his connection may not be.:t
