AverTV problem

I have an AVERTV-Stereo model PCI card I'm trying to add to my AMD 1700 XP system... requirements on the side of the box state "PIII 450 or better"... does that mean also "compatible AMD systems that are equivalent to a PIII 450 or better", or does it literally mean the processor is intel?

Yeah, an AMD of similar or above specs will be fine. Your 1700 XP is definitely better than a P3 450 :D
