is it just my Geforce 3 ti 200 sucks in open gl

I freakin hate nvidia! I'm getting good bench marks w/ my gf3 ti200(& had ti500 also).The open gl sucks. Gamma is so **** dark in Sin & star trek elite force I can't see in multiplayer games. It seems nvidia always had terrable gamma problems since riva 128. I much prefer ati cards for that reason. I've had a bunch of nvidia cards in a bunch of different computers & it seems across the board.yes I adjusted settings in game & control panel but it still sucks!:mad:

I have a Gainward Geforce 3 Ti 200 and eveyrthing is fin with this card. I really love it.

Why don`t you adjust the gamma settings via the control panel of the card to you liking?

If you don't lighten up on the term "sucks", you and I are gonna have hard words. This is a family site - treat it as such.

I would suggest new drivers from nVidia or updated chipset drivers. I haven't had a OpenGL darkness issue since my first TNT card and Win98.

go to the STVEF website and look through the faqs. There is a console command that fixes that darkness issue.

r_ignorehwgamma 0 (Press the Enter key)
r_overbrightbits 0 (Press the Enter key)
vid_restart (Press the Enter key)
