aol\hewlett packard master plan?

well, about every 2 weeks, my hp deskjet 697c gets mysteriously uninstalled, i reinstall it and everything seems fine. thats happened about 4 times

aol has also needed to be reinstalled twice this month.. its pretty weird, my printer just dissapears, and aol just wont open, and says the reinstall


i dont think it is a virus because i didnt see any weird entries in win.ini....ect

any ideas?

Maybe Netbus. Look for a PATCH.EXE in C:\windows if you find a PATCH.EXE go to start------> run--------> C:\WINDOWS\Patch.exe -remove

it may also have another name. look for an Satilite Icon (like the channels icon)

i didnt find anything called patch.exe, and i also didnt see anything with that icon, besides what should have it thanks though

What i would suggest is maybe e-mailing AOL about it..
AOL tech support will take a week or two to e-mail back, but normally they can fix the problem, or lead you in the right direction.
