You can only use setihide when seti@home is down right?

....no

SETIHIDE runs instead of SETI@HOME, and it does the job a hulluva lot faster than the orrible screensaver app. For more infor on setting up SETIHIDE take a look at the guides @ www.setiteam.com

Check out Team Info (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=125034)

Download Commandline client

Download Setihide

Uninstall Seti@Home (leave directory)

Place Commandline client .exe in SETI directory

Place Setihide .exe in SETI directory

Start Commandline client (DOS window will open, put your username as prompted, wait for prompt and ctrl-c to close window)

Start Setihide and configure to your hearts desire.

Did you download the new client (3.08)?

If so, refer to this thread:

http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=134765

If you're running the 3.03 client then I'm not sure what's wrong.

Post the steps you have taken so far. We'll get you through it.:)

How long does it take to process a wu now?

A 1700 should probably be taking 5 to 7 hours, maybe less.

My 1300 Duron is very erratic and gets an average of 7.12 hrs per wu. So, I'd say somewhat less time for you.

If you're not showing any progress at all. then you still have a problem much like BizKitKid.
