Dell Latitude

I have an old Dell Latitude that I bought used about a year ago. I have forgot the power on password. I can not get into the bios. Dell will not help me because I am not the original buyer. Is there a way for me to figure out or bypass the password? I have tried disconnecting the CMOS battery, but it does not work. Please help. Thanks.

I am new to this, I am sorry about posting this in multiple forums. I did not know that it would make people upset. I tried deleting them, but it would not allow me to do that. I am sorry for the confusion.
