I was wondering if anyone knew how well this motherboard would work for gaming:

ECS K7VZA Motherboard

It's a really good price so I figured I'd get it. But I'm not sure how well it will perform with games. The Higher end games that is. Red Alert 2, Mech Commander etc.

Here's some info on it:

thanks

It uses plain VIA KT133+686A, you won't be able to run 133 MHz FSB processor in this one, and it supports only upto ATA66. Will it be enought for you ? I don't know, put some good 3D accelerator on it, and it will rock.
It's all depends on what system you're planning to build around this one, I'd go for something more powerful, with KT133A chipset and 686B south bridge, for ATA100.

Best Regards ...

Well, It will do ok for games (of course it depends on which proccessor you put on) but it's not a bad m/b. My friend has this same motherboard along with a 1.0Gh thunderbird and it does performs flawlessly for DVD, editing tools and games so give it a try.

P.S. Don't remember if my friend has that same model or a k7vma or something.! Good Luck!
