Ritalin Kids Website being constructed need opinions

My friends and I (the original Ritalin Kid I do mind you) are creating a new website for computer reviews, mods and how-to's. It is up and running in it's basic foundation but is yet to be finished. Well just glancing around it looks like you are of to a good start layout-wise. However, I only had to go 3 words until I found a misspelled word.
Welcome to antoher ADD moment…
I applaud your effort, but when I am reading through a tech related site I expect things to at least be spelled properly. I really didn’t look too far after that. I just stopped reading. Now I am not trying to tear you down or anything. It’s just that several times it has been posted “hey check out my website” and when I get there the spelling and grammar is atrocious.

I went back and continued reading after that initial stop and, well, it only seems to get worse. Run it through a spell/grammar checker and clean it up. All the information in the world is worthless unless it is properly presented. Of all the things in web design it seems to me that spelling and grammar would be the easiest to take care of and the first thing checked.

I like the overall site design, it is original and functional. The spelling errors can easily be corrected. My only suggestion is to lose the top frame, unless you end up making it do something useful (no links there atm). I personally prefer side frames only if you are going to use them, but that is just MO. Keep up the good work http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey Kid, cool looking site! The only problem I had was that when I clicked on the forums link, IE6 locked up, I had to CTRL-ALT-Delete to get out of it, and then reboot to get explorer back...kinda annoying...

Good otherwise, I like it...I'm not sure what caused the lockup, it could have been that ad window that popped up when I clicked the link.

You might reconsider having all the links open in a new window if the site's going to stay on Tripod--those popup ads get annoying fast! Other than that, I really like the look and layout!

Right now the only reason the site is hosted on Tripod is for testing purposes when the design is finished we hope to buy a domain name and get hosted on a real server. As far as I know the site is in frames and the links open in the main window of the site when I visit it. None of the listed links work as of yet but soon I hope we can have ti up and running.. it might take some time between school and work but I'm sure we can fix all the bugs.. Thanks for the input, I'll keep you posted..

dude.. I do like the style of the page a lot. however, if i were to think about sponsoring a page, i would certainly think twice if the contact address was freak97@hotmail.com

WEIRD .. Whener I go to view the page I just get a blank white screen. and of course the popup. It just takes a second, the ad pops up and then IE says Done at the bottom and a blank white screen.
