Extra security

I'm runing Inoculate antivirus and Zone alarm. I just heard about Spyware and Active Content Monitoring on the SysOpt page. My quistions are will thay work with my other programs and are thay needed and are thay good programs being there free?
Just picking your brains for your opinion.

Thank you for that page address. I found it very informative. I have just moved to A very out of the way area and am (due lack of choice) forced to us AOL and if I block there pings or monitoring thay won't let IE run. I would still like to hear other feedback if anyone has any. After hearing what more experienced peaple have to say I will decide weather or not to run more programs as my security is very impotant to me.
PS I have never found any one place to get more trust worthy information than all of you at SysOpt thank you.
