I recently downloaded nero5.5 and InCd for win2k. The problem I have now is that it asks me to verify that I have nero5.0 and InCd(the one thats not win2k compatible). I don't know where those serial numbers are on a cd. Can anyone help?

The serial number should either be printed on the inlay cover somewhere, or it should be in the documentation.

The CD came in a white sleeve not a jewel case. Nothing on the CD. No manual either.

Sometimes they'll put it on the back flap of the white sleeve. It's easy to rip the stupid number on accident. Or I have on that's on a sticker on the bottom of the original packing (box, etc.) and on the registration card you are supposed to send in.

Do you still have the older version installed?

If so you can find your serial in the registry just start the "run" dialog box and type regedit ( hit enter ) and then follow this path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Info

Your serial is shown at "serial 5"
