Norton benchmark

I've seen this benchmark in reviews for systems to test overall system performance.
And i have never heard of it. Could someone explain what exactly this benchmark is?

I think it's in Norton System Information (click benchmark) but the button isn't there in SystemWorks 2001 on my W2K install. hmm...
