ok here is the issue you guys havent let me down yet so here goes. im moving http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif i have cable modem now http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif but wont when i move http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif so i have to get isdn. my main question is this. since i now have to get ISDN what kinda ping times can i expect? the ISP im going to connect to says the are connected to a huge backbone oc 48 or something like that and they also said that they are one of teh best providers for isdn around so from experience i was wondering if any of you guys can tell me what kinda pings you are getting? that again

I used ISDN for about 2 years, before going the xDSL route. I didn't notice any difference in Quake 3 pings when I switched off of ISDN. I couldn't tell you the exact ping times that I use to get, but Q3 played smooth.

You might be getting IDSL which is the xDSL version of DSL. You might want to check if that is what they mean or if IDSL is available in your area.
