That term refers to the motherboard mainly.

SS7's can run at 100mhz FSB and faster(some at 95)

Old S7's ran at 66mhz FSB

The socket 7's support MMX/dual voltage core processors, after,, uhhh, I think about 233/266 mhz.

The socket 5 is virtually the same as the first generation of socket 7's same number of pins etc

There is a whole education here in regards to CPU voltage possibilities, for example, some K63+ processors require something like 1.9 volts, the K6-2's = 2.2 volts and the old K6's up to , uhh,, dang I think 2.8v

Anyway, get um mixed up and your CPU is toast if ya put too much juice to it..

The Super Socket 7 has the same basic features as the standard socket 7 but with some improvements:

AGP
100 Mhz FSB
..and some other stuff that i sadly cant remember - try doing a search after it, then you should be able to find the specs for both. search on hardware sites like this one, they ought to have an article about it somewhere.
