RAM for sure, unless you're having a serious problem with your temps.

RAM. Your cpu temps can't be that bad. Athlon XP retail heatsink, right?

60C - load? If you can find more money, get both the memory and either that Vantec Aeroflow, or this TI-V77L:

The TI-V77L runs some $15 cheaper at Newegg. Pretty good, too.

Well, I'd go for the RAM if you have 256MB or less. If you have 256MB, can't you get 256MB and another, cheaper but still better, HSF? 60º is a bit...

Startup...

i recently removed the thermal pad and slapped on some coolermaster paste and the startup emp has gone down but even without any load it has still reached 60C.

yeah i have 256 and desperately want a 512 chip to add....I like the sound of 768 instead of just 512...

LOL
Me too :p
But won't 512MB fit your needs? It's your call on this matter...I'd be a little cautious on the temperature subject...

60C you must spread too much paste or too less. Make sure you spread on the middle part not the whole CPU.. :D

RAM sounds like you need that more ... 256mb isnt that much so you could probly get a performance gain by running dual channel mode

that temp is really high tho :( , maybe you should add more fans or somthing to your case

LoL should you save the $60 incase your CPU die? heh.. just j/k.. :D

But 60C really must have something wrong with your PC. Go think about it..
