Hi folks,

Over the past few years, I've used Dreamweaver primarily for the webpage creation and I've used Fireworks for manipulating the images and creating buttons and so forth.

I was wondering if I can use Fireworks to create the entire webpage.

Has anyone done this? Do you know of any sites done primarily by Fireworks? Are there any drawbacks or benefits to creating webpages strictly with Fireworks?

I guess it will only depend on what you're aiming to do...tough it will be hard to code some riched-featured HTML/CSS using only Fireworks...

The two programs are so closely integrated so that they can be used together to create web pages.

Fireworks is an accessory program to Dreamweaver, not vice versa.

You import Fireworks creations in DW, but not the other way round, so why are you trying to reverse what Macromedia designed each of those programs for?

If that was a good idea, there would be instructions on how to do it in the tutorials of both programs.
