In outlook 2000 there was an option to share diarys is this possible in outlook XP if so how is it done?

Right click on the diaries on the left side of your screen, and go to properties.
go to the permissions tab.
Click to add a permission, and you can select from the exhisting address book.
give that/those users the amount of access you want them to have. At least read access.
The user that now has access must go to File
Open, and open another users folder.
In there, they want to select, or enter the user, and the folder they want to open, in this example, the diary.
There you go

Ive Been looking but all the options for that are grayed out is there another setting that must be turned on first or do you need 1 of the service packs for office on there

You mean you can't change anything in the permissions tab?
What if you tried it for the calendar, does it work then?
