Can this board run with just one stick of RAM?

I was just skimming through a review and though i read that, but i'm thinking that it just takes advantage of certain options with two =\ i dunno, hopefully one of you will.

Definitely, it will run on one stick, however, it will only be 64bit (i.e. single channel). If you install 2 sticks in the appropriate slots then it will automatically run 128bit (dual channel).
