I want to convert video to digital to burn in to DVD. I don't need anything fancy. It appears I need a card like ATI All-In-Wonder or an external box like Dazzle. I have seen allot of complaints about Dazzle and software bugs. Any suggestions.

ATi makes nice video capture cards. I would avoid USB devices.
