Go to the control panel and to sounds and put the music file of your choice in windows start.

Yes, go to Control Panel, then open up the Sounds applet. In the list of events, if an event has a sound it will have a little speaker icon to the left of its name. If it doesn't it won't. In either case, click on the event, then click on Browse, and navigate to the sound file of choice.

Mine plays the THX demo for starts and uses Wile E. Coyote for the shutdown:D

OH,, and I got rid of those annoying Windows splash screens too:eek: :t

You can use any sound you please, as long as it's a .wav file, and don't make it tooooo long:D

I have lots of custom sounds on mine. When starting up , it says Good Morning Master. Recycle bin is a toilet flushing. Errors are Homer Simson saying ..DOH.

Stuff like that.

It's fun to mess with instead of just boring clicks and little bells and tones.
