Everybody who has a GeForce4 Ti card, what are the best drivers you used, for games, wich had a good (normal) performance and almost never experienced graphics problems.
Is there older drivers that works better than new one?

I use the 41.xx detonators that are WHQL certified - never had any problems with them.

gainward issued official 42.30's that work really nice not good for benchmarking with 3dmark 2003 but what is but they are clean on performance and everything good

The Omega drivers are nice looking too, but they aren't good for benching either.

30.82 Detonators worked very well for me. I tried non-WHQL betas nearing the 40.72 mark, but had issues cropping with those and UT2003 & NFSHP2. 40.72 is a good driver (though I think the output quality was better on 30.82). I did try 41.03 and 41.09, methinks without a hitch. Recently I've been using MSI's flavor of 42.30, with no problems, though the only game I play anymore is Morrowind (NOLF1 & UT2003demo occassionally).

I had been running the Modded 42.90, that Dell came out with for the Quadro cards. Nice colors for sure, performance is good.
For now I am running the Omega 42.30a. again, nice colors and texures and good speed.
Both have been very stable for me in games. (UT2003,Tribes I & II)
OH, almost forgot about the PNY 43.00 , this is a good driver also. Fast and stable. The Omega 42.30a and the PNY 43.00 are the best I have tried to date. I think I will stay with the Omega for a while, nice tweak on these drivers, they look as good as the modded 42.90 Quadro driver from Dell and are a little faster.
I run a 64meg PNY Ti4200, slighlty oc 260/550.

I had a lot of chew with shadow textures being all coked up with the 41.xx series, in splinter cell, so i went back to 40.72 and things seem okay :)

u have to set ure slider to "application" based rendering to fix that for splinter cell....the 41.27 drivers try to mix up their own rendering w/ SC's and it causes the shadows to get all funky....once u change that slider that says "Application - Balanced - Aggressive" to application, it would be all good
