Acronyms.....AMD

Most of us know what MMX, SSE SIMD, AGP, VGA, MS, and alota other comp Acronyms stand for. But the one company thats been hittin the news alot lately is AMD, and I bet most of ya dont know what it stands for (I sure didnt til i checked the site out). BEFORE CHECKING THE SITE, how many of you people can honestly say you know what AMD stood for?

Advanced Microchi Design? I had a 486 40 that had the name, but I gave it to a friend a year or so back.
