Yes it is a MMORPG(Masseve Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) Which as like many oter MMORPGS means monthley payments. Check out www.blizzard.com you can see some great screenshots and details on the game.

do i sense some sarcasm here :D
took me 3 days to beat WC3. I wish this game had a single player like a morrowind type of game too so you dont have to pay to play it online. Oh well.
Will Blizzard comes out Starcraft 2? Becos I'm a Starcraft fan. Currently, I have Diablo and Diablo 2 (plus the expansion set). And i also have Warcraft 3 and Starcraft (Plus the expansion set). I was hoping that Blizzard could develop Starcraft 2 becos the story is not over yet. I want to see Kerrigan suffer for her evil deeds. But Blizzard is coming out Ghost on X-Box and I dun have a X-Box. SIGH!!

I am sure that they have played with the idea since there are hidden Starcraft Units hidden in WarCraft3.
I am looking forward to WoW, mainly because of there track record of not releasing something intil it is done and working good.:)
I will most likely check out the WC3 expansion. Loved SC, but not WarCraft3. It does have awsome potiental.

Personally I loved warcraft I, II, and Starcraft but I was very dissapointed with Warcraft 3. I think they went the wrong direction when they lowered the amount of units you can build total and it seems like they made the maps much smaller. I thought it was way too easy though, so far Starcraft has been my favorite blizzard title, it is the game I always go back to when I get tired of other games. A constant classic, that one. Blizzards new first-person shooter Ghost just seems like another Doom or Unreal to me. Shooters need to find something new and innovative. I have found few shooters with something new to offer, one being Starsiege: Tribes with the advent of vehicles, second being Eidos' Theif and Theif II with their idea of stealth and speed, for those of you who haven't played Theif, if you take on a large group of guys face to face you are very likely to die or take huge amounts of damage. I thought this to be a great idea. Well there's my 2, i mean my 25 cents.
