Hi:
A salesman recently told me this; has anyone heard anything like this? Does this mean the v3 is incompatible with most older decoder cards? Does this mean I have to go with a Dxr3? I mostly want a dvd to watch movies...
Or how about just going to software decoding?; the voodoo3 comes with a mail in coupon to 3dfx for dvd software...I recently o/c my AMD K6-2 333 to 350, and as soon as I can get my hands on a couple of jumpers, I'm going to try for 400Mhz...this should be fast enough for software decoding, no?
Any input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks all...
P.S. Also, can anyone recommend any good dvd player software? Thx.
