For others you'll have to get a schematic. Roy 06-26-1999, 01:17 PM AT supplies may require a small load ~ 20% of rated current ~ on the +5V output to regulate/operate. ATX supplies are turned on by the motherboard. Shorting pin 14 (PS On) to 13 (Gnd) or 15 (Gnd) may make it go. I'm not sure whether this connection should be momentary ~ 4-5sec ~ or continuous. mbaker74 09-10-2000, 12:56 AM Oh the crazy things I do. Hook the green (#14) wire up to any black wire. (This is only good for PS's that have the switch on the back or if you want the PS on all the time.) Just was playing around with it. (Glad I didn't zap myself.) Oh yeah...disclaimer...if you kill yourself doing this it's your own d@mn fault. If you're faint of heart or not good with electronics don't try it either. Do you know how i can make my second ATX supply to power on at the same time as my other supply (that is connected to the MB) ? The one connected to the motherboard gets the signal from the MB but is there an easy way to give the signal to the other one at the same time? They are 300 watt ATX supplys and the second one got a button on the back of it, but it doesnt (ofcourse) start up if its plugged in. It needs the signal. Please help, thank you. /d Kuasimodem 05-20-2001, 08:55 AM If you're good at soldering, you could run a jumper from the green wire on the second supply to the green wire on the primary supply. That would power both supplies at the same time, controlled by the motherboard. Strip a little insulation off each wire, you don't have to cut them. Solder the jumper wire to each, and then REINSULATE with electrical tape. [This message has been edited by Kuasimodem (edited 05-20-2001).] SysOpt.com
