Should I use my new motherboards built in audio or should I stick with the sb 128 pci? Using the built in wouldn't take a few milisecs of the processors back?

BipolarBill 03-10-2003, 09:26 PM You're assuming that we know which motherboard you're considering. stix_kua 03-11-2003, 01:11 AM BPB is right...we are not psychic... but besides that, please remeber that not all onboard sound cards are ****..MSI's onboard sound is very decent.... Ammok 03-11-2003, 06:32 PM my oboard sound is better than my 5.1 pci card.:) pete_portugal 03-11-2003, 06:33 PM I know know, it's gonna be a ASROCK PEPRO SIS645, should I stick with the sound card or no... using the built in would free the processor a bit? BipolarBill 03-11-2003, 10:02 PM All built-in audio sections use more CPU cycles than cards do, but some are so good that it doen't matter. Besides, a 2.0GHz CPU can spare some cycles! The C-Media audio on the Asrock is 5.1 and quite good. SysOpt.com
