Ok, I'm wondering if I need to reinstall Win2k or if I have other underlying problems. I left my computer on yesterday as I normally do, and when I got back from work and turned on the monitor I got the blue screen. When I rebooted into 2000, it gave me a stop error that said CONFIG_INITIALIZATION-FAILED. It said I might be able to fix this problem in BIOS, but seeing as I have made no changes for months, I don't understand how BIOS could be the issue. I tried changing RAM sticks to see if that was the problem, but the error message didn't change.

I've got a K6-2 450 running in spec, with 192 Megs of RAM. It's set up as a dual boot system with 98SE, and 98 loads just fine. I'm at wits end with this. If anyone knows anything else to do, I'd be most appreciative.
