Windows FreeCell help

I know free cell is a mindless game but I play it sometimes while waiting for downloads.
Here's my problem, when I try to start the game as I hover the curser over the game area I get a hourglass busy signal and the game is unoperable.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Try shutting off your pop up stopper if you use one, and try again. The one I had caused Solitaire and MineSweeper to crash via Invalid Page Fault.

Also if you use an nVidia video card shut off the nView 2 desktop manager.

Go to Display Properties. Go to Settings and Advanced. Go to the nVidia tab for your Card. In the Pop Up window go to Desktop Controls and uncheck the Desktop Manager, and say OK, and try again. This can cause problems even with notepad on some systems. I think it has to do with other related configurations.

It appears that it is the new CD label Maker program that is causing the problem. Uninstalled and freecell worked again. Put the software back on and again freecell isn't working. Any leads as to how to find where the conflick is?

I have found that the Logitech MouseWare software also causes this problem. Uninstalling the software made Freecell work again.

If you have a logitech wireless mouse, you probably have this software installed.
