Old Biostar M6TBA Ver 1.2

Trying to update this board with the latest Bios

Current info: BIOS V4.51PG TBA1217B 12/17/1998-I440BX-SMC60X-2A69KB0EC-00

Biostars site lists TBA0223b.bin - for ver 1.2 & previous ?Mar-24-1999
TBA1124b.bin - for ver 1.3 ?Dec-29-1999


Trying to flash either of these two bios's return the message:

"The programs file part number does not match your system !"

Does anyone have any info or remember this board ? Maybe TBA1217B was the last bios for this board ?



Xp seems to run fine on this board except it drops the PS2 mouse on every other reboot, USB mouse is fine..I was thinking the current bios is not xp friendly. Win98 had no PS2 mouse problems.

I had that board and had no idea that there was a TBA 1127B BIOS. It must be a custom BIOS for a reseller. All you can do is check your board revision closely and order an original chip.
